Students will be placed into their class not only based on their birthday but also on developmental readiness. We evaluate developmental readiness through one-on-one assessment and small group observation.

 

TODDLER 

Age: 2 years old

Time: 9 am – 3 pm

Our Toddler Program uses hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe, engaging surroundings to help your two year old learn about his or her expanding world.  Toddlers enjoy learning experiences that promote their blossoming independence and social skills, and foster self-confidence.

Our Toddler program promotes emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in a fun, engaging environment.

PRESCHOOL

Age: 3 years old

Time: 9 am – 3 pm

Our Preschool Program is filled with investigation, exploration, and discovery, where active and enthusiastic children can refine and expand their skills and knowledge. Through intentional teaching practices, purposefully-designed learning environments, and enriched activities, teachers ensure preschoolers have joyful, appropriate, and meaningful learning experiences that lead to success in school and in life.

 We encourage our preschoolers to problem solve and be independent when appropriate. We believe in an active learning rich classroom setting.

We incorporate circle time into the day to develop listening and learning skills. We recognize the importance of providing a variety of different activities to reinforce these skills in a consistent manner to keep your preschooler engaged in learning and having fun.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

Age: 4 years old

Time: 9 am – 3 pm

Our Pre-Kindergarten program is designed to prepare students for Kindergarten and beyond, with the skills and confidence needed for a lifetime of academic  success.

Our Pre-Kindergarten Program helps students advance in core pre-academic areas such as literacy, math,and science,as well as in other essential areas such as art, social, and emotional well-being.

Our child-centered approach ensures that students are exposed to a diverse array of learning activities and that they thrive in the areas of creative thinking, complex problem solving, empathetic collaboration, curious investigation, and decision making.

BEFORE & AFTER CARE

Age: 2 -12 years old

Time: 7-9 am and 3-6 pm

Grace Academy offers many extracurricular activities for students. Students engage in active learning and practice skills that are taught throughout the day. Grace Academy also provides homework help and extracurricular activities for elementary age students. Redbud Run Elementary School and James Wood Middle School both provide transportation directly to and from Grace Academy in the morning and afternoon.
